No French Voice Support For Kinect Until Spring 2011
Xbox Canada has announced that Kinect will be available on November 4 across Canada, with Video Chat and all those good things included.
Unfortunately for some Canadians, especially those in Quebec, Kinect won’t have French voice support until Spring 2011.
While it’s not entirely unsurprising – there are always issues with bilingual packages in Canada, and we’re talking about support for a whole other language here- it does kind of suck that French Canadians are getting the shaft.
