Either the good folks at Game Freak have a mighty fine, twisted sense of humor, or they’re running out of ideas. Don’t believe me? Take a look at some of the pokemon over yonder.

Video games are awesome and all, but let’s face it, a lot of us are either poor students or poor graduates wondering where all their money went. Plus, playing video games isn’t exactly something you can usually turn into a profession. Here’s a list of ten rather awesome games that you should all try. The best part is, they’re free-well, unless you want to buy items you can usually get by just playing anyway.

As gamers, we tend to have a pretty high tolerance for terror. Vanquishing demons and devils, slaughtering fel monstrosities; it’s all in a day’s work. As a result, to scare us, well and truly scare us, the developers have to get creative.

This list isn’t just devoted to the myriad monsters that are thrown at us- we’d have more than enough from a single Silent Hill game, were that the case.

So, you want to run a tabletop game, do you? Well, I’ll walk you through the process. I’ve been running a game of my own for about a year and a half now; so while I might not be an expert on the matter…I do know what you need.
