As entertaining as it is to run around like a fucking lunatic obliterating, incinerating and eradicating the Nazis and their horde of mutant creations in Wolfenstein… it’s a lot more fun to play the game properly.

Bonus Gaming: Screw the programmer’s expectations, play however you feel like

A group of Canadian gamers have started bringing the Canadian Forces in as a playable faction in Arma 2 and its expansion Operation Arrowhead.

This is more than just a skin pack. They are creating new vehicles, new models and new weapons for the mod. It’s currently playable but still in testing, and I figured I’d give it a run through.

With the release of Halo: Reach, I thought it might be interesting to take a look at the possible inspiration behind the Halo series: more specifically, Master Chief himself. How did Bungie come up with the idea? Where did they draw it from?

Groggy, sleepy eyed gamers made what must have seemed like a long trek home this morning, having survived Project X’s second LANsomnia event.

Taking place at Switchbox 1.1, Project X tasked gamers to compete in a Starcraft II and Call of Duty 4 tournament, which would last throughout the night. Beginning at 11 p.m., 51 gamers competed from prizes and bragging rights.

Neil Kaplan voiced Tychus Findlay in Starcraft II, who, as the millions who bought the game already know, is a major character in the campaign.

Well, turns out that wasn’t always the case. Tychus’s role originally wasn’t all that big Kaplan revealed.
